Overview

Master Halco, the largest manufacturer/distributor of fencing products, has an immediate opportunity for an HR Benefits Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the administration of benefits; employee enrollment; verifies/approves benefit submission.
  • Maintains FMLA/Leave of Absence records according to guidelines
  • Enter and update a variety of employee information on the computer, following HR guidelines.
  • Responds promptly to employee questions regarding benefits and other HR policies.
  • Monitors unemployment claims by reviewing the claims and compiling documentation to substantiate the claim.
  • Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing and analyzing data.
  • Prepares invoices for approval and keeps a spreadsheet.
  • Performs monthly benefits reconciliations and works with vendors to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Assist with and compile information for various employee relation programs and activities.
  • Compiles and maintains employee records.
  • Performs diversified clerical and administrative activities.
  • Maintain and process confidential information in discreet and timely manner

Qualifications

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Project and team leadership experience.
  • Ability to handle information that needs to remain confidential.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree , OR any appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills.
