Overview

Master Halco, one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of fencing products has an immediate opportunity available for an Import Coordinator. Directly responsible for processing import shipments and all related activities. Perform duties related to import documentation review, entry filing preparation for US Customs release, and customs release coordination affecting timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage import shipments from point of origin to destination
  • Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, Customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.
  • Audit and review freight invoices for accuracy and reporting.
  • Resolve any import documentation discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and maritime regulations
  • Ability to support Logistics department strategic future vision

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.
  • Possess exceptional customer service, problem solving, organizational and extensive analytical skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communications skills.
