    Looking to advance your career in the fast-growing field of logistics? Master Halco, the largest manufacturer/distributor of fencing products, has an immediate opportunity for a Logistics Specialist.  The Logistics Specialist will analyze product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes. This role will support all distribution center and plant operations with their shipping needs. 


    • Have a general understanding of logistics and transportation for all modes of transport.
    •  Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution and inventory.
    • Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. 
    • Prepare reports on logistics performance measures
    • Responsible for identifying and taking the lead on resolving issues.
    • May manage route activity including invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing
    • Manage  the transfer, sales, returns and oversee repairs of all company forklifts.
    • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes
    • Assist in coordinating transportation expedites as needed and negotiate with national dealers for company equipment needs.
    • Manage and process all claims pertaining to transportation.
    • Complete other supply chain projects and work as assigned.


    • 2 years of work experience preferred
    • Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Great communication, negotiation and customer service skills
