Master Halco is seeking an experienced Market Developer to develop our wood product line sales in the California market.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies and Develops and grows market for assigned products.
    • Seeks out new distribution/sales opportunities through opening new accounts.
    • Develops market for new product strategies.
    • Participates in the development of sales and marketing programs and initiatives.
    • Delivers in-field sales training associated with designated product line.
    • Supports Branch and Product Managers in collecting and analyzing product market research.
    • Provides technical support and fields inquiries relating to designated product line.
    • Create market sales strategies in tandem with the marketing and/or business development department.
    • Offer insight about product potential.
    • Assess product market data through joint sales calls and evaluates sales call results.
    • Participates in and/or oversees product line expansions including; new categories, line extensions and product specifications.
    • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Driver’s License, proof of Insurability
    • Fence or building materials industry experience preferred
    • Successful track record of selling into the building materials industry and home center/hardware stores
