  • Overview

    Master Halco, one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of fencing products has an immediate opportunity available for an experienced Regional Manager (Northwest Region). Directly responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of sales for the Distribution Centers within an assigned region. Perform duties such as budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, in addition to supervisory duties.




    1. Oversees multiple business units with full P&L responsibility.
    2. Confers with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
    3.  Listens to and resolves customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
    4. Provides staff with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
    5. Leads sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met.
    6. Assists with formulating pricing policies on merchandise according to profitability requirements.
    7. Analyzes details of sales territories to assess their growth potential and to set goals.
    8.  Visits retailers and sales representatives to promote products and gather information.
    9. Coordinates sales promotion activities.
    10. Identifies sales & margin potential within the region both for existing markets, as well as for new markets.
    11. Recommends new product ideas and innovative sales approaches that would increase profitable sales in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations.
    12. Assists the Vice President of Operations in all phases of strategic sales planning and objective analysis of the business.
    13. Coaches the Branch Managers and Outside Sales Associates as well as providing sales skill training.


    1.) Must live in or relocate to one of the following cities: Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, Seattle, Spokane or Phoenix.

    2.) Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): or Work Equivalent. 

    3.) 4 plus years of experience in related field.

    4.) Minimum five years sales and operations experience with proven managerial and leadership skills.

    5.) Proven track record of entrepreneur spirit and success.

    6.) Travel requirement - minimum 50% of time.

    7.) Knowledge of Internet software; inventory software; spreadsheet software; order processing systems; and Word Processing software.

    8). Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
