The Deck Superstore, is a one-stop shop with everything in stock for deck projects including decking, railing, framing, foundation, hardware, lights, and architectural lumber. We are seeking a Sales Support Associate (SSA) to work at our Denver location. 

 

Position Summary

The Sales Support Assistant is an essential part of The Deck Superstore (TDS) team and acts as a support system for TDS staff.  This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities, providing support across various departments, and enhancing overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities           

  • Responsible for overseeing the materials return process
  • Assist with accounts receivable
  • Filing, scanning and general office organization
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Greet and assist onsite guests and customers
  • Process mail and distributes invoices to customers
  • Records, verifies, and posts payments received by the organization
  • Responds to customer inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies related to billing
  • Addresses routine day-to-day problems and coordinaes with stakeholders to obtain solutions
  • Perform related work assignments as directed

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in a retail office setting

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to organize and multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Energetic, organized (great time management) and able to manage a wide range of priorities
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required

Work Environment: General warehouse, outdoor environment, and/or office.

Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, climb, stand, and lift and/or move.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position Monday through Friday; some overtime may be required.
