Overview

ITOCHU Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for a Sr. Compensation Analyst. Comprised of Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, and US Premier Tube Mills, ITOCHU Building Products is the largest and leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America.

 

Based in Dallas, TX and reporting directly to the Director of ER & Compliance,The Senior Compensation Analyst will be an integral part of our HR shared services team, providing analytical and administrative support and consultation for all compensation policies and programs.  This position will involve analyzing compensation data, conducting market research, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

 

This role will utilize strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting working both independently and collaboratively with multiple subsidiary organizations.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Administer annual merit process and incentive pay programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives and budget considerations
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of incentive and variable pay programs, including participation, payout outcomes, and alignment to business performance; provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted compensation advisor to HR partners and business leaders, ensuring consistent, compliant, and market-aligned compensation practices
  • Develop and present compensation recommendations using market data, internal equity, and business context; advise HR and leaders on appropriate pay actions
  • Maintain and evolve the organization’s job architecture and job descriptions, including job leveling, scope alignment, and ensure audit-ready documentation for pay decisions  
  • Manage compensation software (Salary.com CompAnalyst) 
  • Ensure that compensation programs adhere to current regulations and legislation. 
  • Support compensation projects related to mergers, acquisitions, or organizational changes as needed
  • Support the development of compensation communications, tools, and manager guidance to enable clear, consistent, and effective pay conversations
  • Develop compensation cost models and scenario analysis to support workforce planning, budgeting and decision making. 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation theory, principles, and practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current compensation trends, regulations, and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with internal customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to translate complex compensation data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and ethical judgment.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, or related field
  • 5-8 years of progressive compensation experience required
  • CCP Certification preferred or progress toward certification strongly encouraged
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP WFN preferred), and compensation benchmarking tools
